I wanted to buy a picnic basket for the second granddaughter (I have 13 grandchildren) - I bought the oldest my granddaughter in the pre-spring from Crate-Barrel & Macy's; now in the fall nobody things has a picinic basket and the things into it. I go to my computer - I received the day after I order it - our family opened it on her18th birthday - wow ! They loved it because it has anything except the food and drink . . . we totaly enjoyed our new basket, when wewent camping everything we needed was right at our hands. the only thing i can thing to add would be some soup or ceral bowls. thank you very much!
and maybe so bigger plates. i know its a picnick basket but we use it fr camping as well. i just addes them from my kitchen. there was plenty of room in the basket. (Posted on 8/17/11)

I bought the picnic basket for my wife's birthday and she is still raving about it. Everything is there where you need it and it has plenty of room for food.
